I mainly paint on canvases of various sizes, my favorite technique being acrylic paints, but also oil, watercolor, graphite, smoked candle, sandpaper, which I often use simultaneously. I make art because it gives me the opportunity to express visions and emotions that I feel inside me and want to emerge. Above all, I want to communicate lightness and essentiality; in fact, I admire artists who manage to convey emotions with little color, few strokes and little material, such as Virgilio Guidi and Miro Romagna who was my teacher. I chose acrylic colors because, basically, I use them with demineralized water that does not pollute and is odorless. I create my works when an internal impulse comes, but it comes from being struck by a particular light, a particular
glare, a particular framing of a Venetian palace, an unusual shade of color.
