Artist Statement
Natali Arefieva explores the symbolism of gold as the embodiment of light and perfection, linking it to mythological contexts. In her work, gold becomes a conceptual framework that reflects ideas of the transformation of eternal values.
Her art focuses on themes of love, freedom and inner light, expressed through photography, collage and foil sculptures. The creative process combines improvisation with the use of artificial intelligence, opening up new avenues of visual expression.
Project
The project «Transformation» is a multilayered study of internal changes embodied in a series of art objects where foil becomes a key element of artistic expression In the hands of the artist, this seemingly mundane material transforms into a powerful symbol of unrelenting change and metamorphosis. Through tactile and emotional interaction with foil, the artist delves into the depths of personal reflection, creating works that resonate with the global processes of transformation taking place in the world around her.
