Artist Statement
I am interested in the aesthetic experience exploring the transversal connections between the space and the historical heritage of the lagoon city where I have been working for two decades.
“ …like the sculptor, painter and designer Peggy Milleville who left Northern Germany twenty years ago to come and settle in the lagoon where she works tirelessly on a work whose visual richness reflects and transforms her experience of the venetian environment: the fluid and the flamboyant, the audacity and the fragility, the vulnerability and the resistance, the melancholy and the comic and the incessant transformation of colors and shapes, materials and states in a tenuous tangle of interactions…”
